Heavy Vehicle Catering Driver

To provide reliable, timely delivery and courteous transportation service to customers with safety being a top priority.

• Be professional in the transportation of loading goods and products and in equipment according to specification.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness of vehicles and their equipment with records compiled regularly.
• Ensure all trolleys and equipment are loaded and stowed according as per instructions.
• Observe security regulations.
• Be responsible for ensuring that vehicles under his control are road worthy.
• Observe driving and traffic rules and regulations and exercise utmost care when maneuvering vehicles.
• Take all necessary and preventive measures to ensure cargo is transported and delivered safely and free from any damage.
• Perform his/her duties according to HACCP system principles.
• Carry out his/her duties safely and responsibly.
• Maintain a high level of personal hygiene, be well groomed and wear a clean uniform.
• Does not smoke in the vehicle.
• Fueling the vehicles
• Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported
• Provides a communication link between customers and staff
• Minimum Food handlers license A/B or as applicable.
• Driving License or Special Driving license for bigger vans
• Exercise good control, co-ordination and communication with other employees.
• Skilled in reasoning to interpret policies and procedures.
