Handyperson

The Handyperson will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks in an industrial setting.

A high level of skill in various maintenance disciplines, including repairing plumbing issues, patching drywall, fixing general electrical problems, replacing broken tiles, and addressing general maintenance needs. Strong problem-solving skills

• Conduct routine inspections and assessments of buildings, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and repair issues;
• Perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general repairs;
• Repair or replace faulty fixtures, or components to restore functionality;
• Assemble furniture, install fixtures, hang doors, and handle various installation tasks;
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage spaces;
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance tasks;
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory;
• Assist other technicians and contractors as needed for complex repairs or specialised tasks.
