We are looking for a reliable and experienced Handyperson to carry out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general repairs and maintenance within residential and commercial properties.
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling, and masonry works.
Repair doors, windows, locks, fixtures, fittings, and other household or building components.
Assemble, install, and repair furniture, shelving, and other equipment.
Carry out painting, plastering, patching, and minor renovation works.
Identify maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Attend to urgent repair and maintenance requests when required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Assist with property inspections and general upkeep.
Coordinate with contractors or specialist tradespeople when work falls outside the scope of general maintenance.
Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure work is completed safely and professionally.

Requirements

Previous experience in general maintenance or handyman work.
Good practical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to carry out a variety of basic repair and maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting works.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Good attention to detail.
A valid driving license would be considered an advantage.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.

Working Conditions

The role may involve working indoors and outdoors and may require lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and working in different property environments. Flexibility to respond to maintenance requests when required is expected.
