Competency Required:

University degree is required in any food related major or equivalent related work experience
A minimum 8-10 years proven experience in similar role
Successful track record of achieving budgeted results while improving operations
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
Solid judgment along with decision making skills
Sound Knowledge about Food Safety & Quality Management Systems.

Roles & Responsibility:

In General:

Shall be responsible for updating the top management with every day’s production reports and KPI’s.
Shall be responsible for implementing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews.
Shall be responsible for motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
Shall be responsible for communicating job expectations to the team, planning, monitoring and appraising job contributions.
Shall be responsible reviewing worker performance;
Shall be responsible for Identifying training needs and communicating to the quality department.
Shall be responsible for maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment in line with QA team.
Shall be responsible for accomplishing human resource objectives by training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Shall be able to work well under pressure and with deadlines.

In Production:

Overseeing the production process, approving production schedule;
Ensuring that the production is cost effective by reducing wastage;
Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
Ensuring the human and material resources are available for day to day production as planned;
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
Monitoring facility and product standards;
Liaising among different departments effectively;
Working with management to implement the company's policies and goals;
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
Ensuring Food Safety Culture is developed within the organization

In Store:

Ensure store operations are functioning smoothly (planning, coordinating, monitoring: receiving and issuing of raw materials in the store).
storekeeping procedures are applied and methods in arranging space, estimating needs and maintaining are ensured, pallets are arranged neatly according to the company’s standard, spacing between pallets is maintained.
Appropriate and accurate Lot no
FIFO and FEFO system is maintained.
Expiry dates are monitored.
Decomposed or spoiled materials are removed periodically.
Any kind of contaminations are identified and corrective action shall be taken immediately.
Ensure planning, coordinating and monitoring waste disposal are happening periodically.
Ensure all the incoming and goods issued checked and accurate records are kept in securing the company's assets.
Ensure if any raw materials received did not meet the company’s standard/ specifications it is reported to the purchasing and quality department.
Ensure stock control systems is kept up to date and making sure inventories are accurate.
Ensure to maintain 3 days of safety stock
Shall ensure to check and verify materials in store periodically.
Shall be responsible for resolving problems and identifying store system improvements.
Shall be responsible for checking and verifying all the following records:
Receiving report
Issuing Report
Waste disposal Report

In Dispatch:

Shall ensure products are ready for delivery on time as per customers’ standard.
Shall be responsible for on time loading and dispatching of all the materials as per the schedule.
Shall verify the dispatch report.
Shall oversee the team follows the proper arrangements procedure of the crates in the vehicle.

In Logistics:

1.Shall oversee the movement and allocation of the vehicle.

2.Shall ensure to follow all the health and safety, hygiene standards set by the quality department.

3.Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios

4.Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes

Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems.
Create policies and procedure for logistics activities
