We are currently seeking for a technical experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Draughtspersonto join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and optimising technical drawings and 2D and 3D CAD models, supporting production processes, and ensuring that designs meet structural requirements, quality standards, and project specifications. The role involves close collaboration with the technical, engineering, and production teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness throughout the design and production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to collect measurements, technical information, and relevant data required for preparing drawings, records, cost estimates and quotes.
• Prepare, develop, and optimise accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models in accordance with structural requirements, design specifications, and company procedures.
• Optimising design materials, evaluating alternative methods, and identifying cost effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and efficient project execution.
• Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders throughout the design and production processes.
• Recommend practical solutions to minimise material waste and improve resource utilisation.
• Assist in maintaining effective inventory management procedures and monitoring production schedules.
• Inspect production lines and workstations to verify that manufacturing and assembly processes comply with approved technical drawings and specifications.
• Carry out dimensional checks, visual inspections, and verification of steel assemblies, identifying potential defects or discrepancies.
• Support quality assurance and quality control procedures, including identifying issues, recommending corrective actions, and proposing improvements.
• Prepare production time analysis, resource utilisation, and cost-control measures.
• Monitor assigned tasks and follow up to ensure their timely and accurate implementation.
• Support compliance with applicable Health and Safety requirements, ISO standards, and company policies and procedures.
• Assist in collecting and analysing client feedback to identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Draughtsperson or similar technical role.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Proficiency in preparing and working with 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models.
• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction, fabrication, or production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
• Good organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with different departments.
