Concrete Laboratory Technician/assistant

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Concrete Laboratory Technician/Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

• Conduct routine and specialised tests on fresh and hardened concrete, including slump, air content, temperature, compressive strength, density, and yield calculations.
• Prepare concrete samples, moulds, and curing environments in accordance with relevant testing standards.
• Perform testing on aggregates and other construction materials to verify their quality and suitability.
• Maintain, inspect, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Record, analyse, and report testing results accurately and within the required timeframes.
• Ensure all testing procedures comply with applicable industry standards and project specifications.
• Assist in identifying and investigating material quality or performance issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe laboratory working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct handling of materials, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Carry out laboratory and on-site testing as required by the company's operations.
