The Role:

The Public Relations Officer will act as an important point of contact between the company and the wider business community.

The successful candidate will help develop the company's network of contacts and support management in identifying opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, referrals, business development, and greater visibility for the company brand.

The role will involve both communication and relationship-building. You will be expected to confidently represent the company , explain services, establish new contacts, and maintain positive relationships with existing clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Represent company professionally when dealing with businesses, organisations, industry representatives, and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, potential clients, business partners, professional networks, and community contacts.
Identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, collaborations, and referral relationships.
Support the development of company's corporate image and public profile.
Assist in developing and maintaining the company's PR and communications strategy.
Prepare or coordinate company announcements, presentations, corporate communications, profiles, and promotional material.
Assist with promoting the company's different divisions and services.
Build relationships with relevant businesses and organisations across Malta and Gozo.
Attend or represent the company at business meetings, networking events, conferences, exhibitions, and other relevant activities.
Assist management with arranging meetings and introductions with potential partners and clients.
Maintain regular communication with important contacts and follow up on potential opportunities.
Identify relevant events, organisations, associations, and networking opportunities where A1 Continental can increase its visibility.
Support the company's social media, website, and other external communication activities where required.
Assist in maintaining a consistent and professional brand across external communications.
Monitor relevant developments in the business sectors .
Work closely with management, sales, HR, and operational teams to communicate the company's services effectively.
Maintain appropriate records of contacts, meetings, opportunities, and ongoing relationships.

The role is therefore particularly suitable for someone who enjoys networking and opening doors, rather than someone who wants a role limited to office-based communications.
